iOS like JOYOS 1.2.2 [2.3.7] custom ROM for IDEA Blade

              GOOD NEWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For all IDEA BLADE users :D A new ROM which is a look alike Apple’s iOS is now available for IDEA Blade. The developers of the ROM who are a Chinese team has done a great job in matching the look exactly like the iOS. What more, you also get an option to change the language to English.checkout screenshots below i know you guyz just love this one ! :)

    

                 

    REQUIREMENTS

• Download JOYOS 1.2.2 ROM for IDEA Blade
• Rooted and ClockworkMod Recovery installed.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Copy the ROM to the phone’s internal SD card.
2. Disconnect the USB connection and power off the device.
3. Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery. To do it, press and hold the Power button and Volume Down key for a while. use Volume keys to navigate to Recovery and press the Home to select it.
4. [Optional but recommended] In the Recovery menu use Volume keys to navigate to “Backup and Restore” > “Backup”. This will create a backup of your current firmware and it can be used restore your phone incase something went wrong.
5. Select ‘Install zip from SD Card’ > ‘Choose zip from SD card’ from main menu of Recovery.
6. Select the ROM zip file.
7. After the installation is complete, select ‘++++Go Back++++’.
8. Select ‘Wipe data/factory reset’ > ‘Yes – delete all user data’.
9. Select the option Cache Partition’ > ‘Yes Wipe cache’.
10. Go to ‘Advanced’ and select ‘Wipe Dalvik Cache’ > ‘Yes – Wipe Dalvik Cache’.
11. Select ‘++++Go Back++++’.
12. In the main menu, press ‘Reboot system now’.’

Congratulations! At first boot, the default language is Chinese.don't worry just search for “Settings” icon and scroll down, choose an option that has an icon with a “Aa” letters. Then choose the first option for English. Enjoy the iOS experience on your IDEA Blade. \m/

      Right now i am using this Rom feather smooth UI,all features and Hardware working perfect
and the major issue of RAM is also minimized as it leaves 50-60MB ram for use,and process handling is better than previously recommended Rom MMHMP RLS9 so don't worry and go for it !

Upgrading IDEA Blade to Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread

       

     You might read about upgrades before but there was problems with Camera drivers with other Roms but upgrading with this Rom with Swedish Kernal includes camera drivers also so Camera will also work Flawlessly..
Lets start,first of all we need to collect all the stuff we needed. Just download all the things listed below on your PC :

Z4root: Link (after downloading your antivirus might detect it as Virus
                     this is an exploit Exploit:Unix/Lotoor)
Rom Manager: Link 

Rom (Moldovan-Mile-High-Mountain-Pie-RLS9.zip): Link

Kernal 1(M-MHMP-RLS9-Undervolt-Kernel-Gen2.zip) :Link

Kernal 2(M-MHMP-RLS9-Swedish-Stock-Kernal-Gen2.zip) : Link

          After downloading everything , first check if your memory Card had atleast 500MB of free space or not,then mount your memory card on PC by connecting through USB.Copy everything on SDCard's root.

1.  install Z4root and Rom manager using Filer.Once you install Z4root open application and Click on Permanent Root it will take a while to root your Blade,then it will automatically Reboots, after reboot to just check if your Blade is Rooted or not, search for SuperUser App in your App drawer which will automatically get installed after Rooting Process.if it is there then now your Phone is rooted and ready for Flashing.

2. Before we actually starts Flashing,we have to take Backup of our Stock Rom for Fail-Safe situation, So now go to App drawer and Open Rom manager and select first option Flash ClockworkMod Recovery

(you need working net or wifi connection to download latest ClockworkMod) , it will pop-up drop-down list to choose your device,select you device.it will starts download , after download complete,ClockworkMod will be get installed automatically.

3. Finally select Backup Current Rom option it will Reboot your phone into ClockworkMod and Backup will automatically Start.after done with this, phone reboots and starts normally,

4. Now you are completely ready for Flashing as you have Backup of your existing Rom for fail-Safe Situation,Now Turn Off your phone.and Start it by Holding Power on and Volume down key at the same time,hold as it is for few seconds.. you will enter ClockworkMod after few seconds..

now Navigate through options using Volume Rocker keys and Home key to select.

5. now select wipe data/factory reset then Advance -> wipe dalvik cache ,after this completes select 

Install from SD card > Moldovan-Mile-High-Mountain-Pie-RLS9.zip and install nextInstall from SD card > M-MHMP-RLS9-Undervolt-Kernel-Gen2.zip  and install thenInstall from SD card >   M-MHMP-RLS9-Swedish-Stock-Kernal-Gen2.zip  and install
after installation Completes Simply select Reboot... And Enjoy new Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread ! :)

Note : It takes several minutes in first Reboot so be patient..

I have already done this and it works like Charm ,and it is Faster than Stock Rom !

Is IDEA Blade comes with 512MB RAM ?

         

         The main Confusion Starts when, someone thinks to buy IDEA Blade. Specially in India right now there are two rebranded versions of ZTE Blade are available, one is DELL XCD35 and second one is IDEA Blade. DELL XCD35 launched in the middle of year 2011,initially DELL XCD35 sold as GEN1 Blade, with 512 (H/w) RAM but only 256 RAM unlocked means Practically only around 160-190MB RAM for use, but late November DELL starts Shipping GEN2 Blades with complete 512MB RAM unlocked,

           But in case of IDEA Blade, this Blades are GEN2 Blades, but the actual h/w RAM is 512 or not is not revealed yet , till date IDEA Blades comes with 256MB RAM unlocked i.e. 160MB to use.I'll update you guyz as soon as i found out the truth, if IDEA Blade also has 512MB H/w RAM we can unlock full 512 RAM by (Total Phone Transfer)TPT Flashing, you can refer this link for details.
